Blue sky birding

Another beautiful March day, with warm sun and blue skies and most of the interest was ariel. 5 Common Buzzards thermalling and calling... ... including two birds interacting, the lower one flying upside down to fend off a diving competitor:Lots of these singing:
The male Blackcap has found the bird table. Note the cunning anti-rat protection:
And finally... today I give up on Waxwings finding Cuddesdon this winter. Below is a picture of the remaining berries, the huge crop having being gradually decimated by Woodpigeons with odd shaped pupils over the winter. Will Waxwings ever appear here?
