Sparrows
This article in today's Guardian on the continuing decline of our birdlife, in particular Starlings and House Sparrows, is illustrated with two pictures. One of a Starling murmuration over suburbia, the other of... an American White-crowned Sparrow. Try harder next time, Mr Guardian picture editor, its House Sparrows that we are killing off in this country:
