Still lots of floodwater about, so another walk down to the river. En route, 250 Fieldfares and 60 Skylarks. Somehow I have managed to miss an enormous badger set by the ruined buildings until now, some of the entrances are freshly excavated. As it's dusk there are a few Roe Deer about:

On the floods a few duck remain: 14 Wigeon and 14 Mallard. Earlier in the day there was a huge Lapwing flock over the floods - at least 180 Lapwings, and we flushed a Snipe from the edge of the set-aside.
