Migrant birds remain in Cuddesdon shock

5 Wheatears still in the stubble field - surely there must be somewhere better for them to go?
Got caught up in a scrap with a gang of these guys today. One minute it's all quiet and birdless, the next it's more like Wimbledon: bright yellow balls of yellow zipping around me at 120kph.

Also one showy Lesser Whitethroat. It's a relative term. Although if I squint I could almost turn this into a minature Red-backed Shrike...
