Today I became a proud father. Thanks to Ben.
I am now responsible for BTO tetrad SP60B and will have to make four visits to the area to the east of Cuddesdon (not a problem, its where I go every week!) to record the number and species of birds present. This data will be added to the BTO 2007-11 UK Bird Atlas because, as Ben pointed out, why not contribute? And when I discovered the tetrad covering most of my local patch was free, I knew it was meant to be. Plus, I now have an objective, scientific excuse to leave my family and head into the fields, guilt free: it's a win-win deal!
