Death Zone

The village is looking picturesque in the wheat fields, although harvesting is just beginning:

Many Swifts feeding high above the village, strange to think they'll only be here for another two or three weeks.

Above, the set-aside glowing in the sun... and below, producing near lethal amounts of pollen for the seasonally affected:

Christ - a bird! Linnet. We have entered the Death Zone, mid-July to late August. This might be as good as it gets until September.
