HBW: the ultimate test of DIY

The complete set (to date) of the Handbook of the Birds of the World - surely the ultimate DIY challenge? Each volume weighs as much as the planet Jupiter and all 15 volumes combined have more gravitional pull than the Moon:

So far the shelves have held! And by the way, any apparent curvature of the shelves is obviously due to the wide angle camera lens. In reality, they are as flat as the surface of the Earth ;-)
